Kids of the Kingdom

RUMC is vibrant and full of activities for our younger set.
Our children are our futures, and folks at RUMC believe
our children come first! 

Every family will find something they're looking for in one
of the many programs that we offer:

• Sunday School
  Offered for ALL AGES at 9:45 AM every Sunday. Visit our education wing and see for yourself!
• Junior Church
  At the 11:00 AM worship service, kids ages 5 and up are welcome to leave the service after the Children's Message to participate in a kids-only worship service designed specifically for them. We have interactive learning opportunities, fun activities, and inspirational songs that children love to sing!
• Nursery
  For those under age 5, we offer nursery care during worship services. Our nursery is staffed by loving, experienced caregivers from within our church family. Two rooms are available; one for infants and one for toddlers and preschoolers.For those "big kids" (middle and high schoolers), we offer a youth group called MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) that meets every Sunday at 6 PM in the social hall. Our youth group participates in mission projects, field trips, fun-raisers, and just gets together to have fun! 
• Youth Group
  For those "big kids" (middle and high schoolers), we offer a youth group called Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) that meets the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month from 4 p.m to 5:30 p.m. in the social hall. Our youth group participates in mission projects, field trips, fun-raisers, and just gets together to have fun! Once per year, we have an amazingly fun Vacation Bible School. It's usually offered in the evenings during one full week over the summer. 2010's VBS theme: Vacation Bible School's "Galactic Blast." At the end of the week, there is a huge picnic to celebrate, and everyone shares what they have learned. GREAT fun for all who participate!
  
  Special Events
  Neewollah Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, ice cream socials, skating trips, game nights, movie nights, lock-ins, field trips, picnics, food drives ... the list goes on and on! There's always something going on at RUMC for your whole family. Please check our upcoming events to see what's coming next!
