First Wii Bowling
Tournament is a Success!
Around 65 folks turned out
on Sunday, February 21st, to enjoy the first ever
Wii Bowling Tournament at the Remington Fire Hall.
The event was the first to be sponsored
by the newly formed Family Ministries Committee.
Tournament participants had an opportunity to hone their skills
with practice games before the actual completion began at 2.
Families then bowled two games
and an average was taken for each family.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the fellowship
and the excitement of “competition.”
Congratulations to our prize winners:
third place – The Johnson family, Andy and Theresa;
second place – the Bateman kids, Maddie, Max and Heaven,
and; first place – the “family unit” of
Kaye Rich, Jan Hart and Linda McClanahan!
All in all it was a great time for fellowship, food and fun!
