- Electronic Funds Transfer Survey
The church is considering providing the congregation with an alternative method of giving. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) operates much like when you have your mortgage or car payment set up to automatically withdraw from your checking account. The service we are evaluating gives the donor full control. Participation is totally optional – we would continue to welcome your check or cash contributions.
Should you choose to participate:
· You determine withdrawal dates and can start or stop anytime.
· You can schedule withdrawals weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually – whatever fits your budget.
· No more check writing or making up missed payments due to vacation.
· Funds would transfer directly from your checking account into the church account on your determined dates.
· There would be a $0.25 transaction fee that would be charged to the church if not covered by the donor. That amounts to $13.00 per year if you donate weekly; $3.00 per year if you donate monthly.
Please complete the survey at the bottom of this form so we can better assess the level of interest in this option. If there is enough interest, we will plan for this project next budget year.
