"When my family and I were new to this area, we began looking for a church we could call home. We visited a few others, but most were either too big, or just not very friendly to visitors. When I stepped into RUMC, I felt like I had found my home! I was approached by a few people who seemed to genuinely care that I was there and wanted to get to know me better. I never felt pressured - just loved, welcomed, and accepted. When my husband was laid off, the pastor took him out to lunch to help him through it. When my third child was born, and was in the NICU for nine days, the church supported my family through prayer, meals, visits, and financial help until we brought her home. No other church in my life has been able to show me God's love like RUMC has!"
