Lenten Soup Meals

Beginning Ash Wednesday and throughout the Lenten Season, we will gather each Wednesday night at 6 pm for a light meal of soup and bread. After the meal, we will have a short devotional time at 7 pm. On 22 February, Ash Wednesday, there will be a service of imposition of ashes at 7 pm. The items below will be needed each week, enough to feed 30-40 people: 4-6 pots of soup, large & small Styrofoam bowls, homemade bread (or something like it), butter, large containers of water, cups for the water, plastic knives, napkins. Chicken noodle soup and tomato soup for the children, gallon-size Zip-Lock bags (2 boxes)

Contact Jeanie Boggs for more information. Please leave your donations in the church office.
